Zoe Ward is an extraordinary 11-year old who was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in June of 2023. This rare and aggressive form of brain cancer cannot be operated on, and is non-responsive to chemo. Despite these circumstances and challenges, Zoe continues to be a beacon on strength and positivity. Zoe finds joy in the world of musical theater, nature, and art. Her creative spirit continues to uplift those around her.
Zoe is currently undergoing medical treatments in San Francisco, and her parents travel between Reno and San Francisco to be with her during this time. For the entire month of March, SRBC will be collecting a love offering in order to offer financial support to Zoe and her family as they continue to bravely face the challenge of childhood cancer.
