The Mission of our Children's Ministry is to help all preschoolers and children to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by building relationships with them, being examples for them, and teaching them God's Word.

Our key verse is:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:5

Sunday Mornings

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Age appropriate Bible study is offered for children ages 6 weeks through 6th grade.

11 AM - 12 PM

Childcare and Bible study is provided at 11 AM for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old.

School aged children are encouraged to stay in the worship service with their parents during the 11 AM service.

We also have weekly activities for kids!

AWANA

"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed."

The SRBC AWANA Club meets Tuesday Nights from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. The mission of AWANA is to equip leaders to reach kids with the Gospel and to engage them in lifelong discipleship. Our vision and prayer of AWANA is that all the children and youth, throughout the world, will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

AWANA is a program that encourages children to dig into the Word of God and commit Scripture to memory. There are prizes, games, council time, and even a store! The price is $50 per child per year (includes the uniforms and books). It is for children ages 3 years old (by 9/30) through 6th grade.

VBS 2024

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner! This year's theme is "Breaker Rock Beach." We will focus on this truth: "God's Truth is Rock-Solid in a world of Shifting Sands," based on Romans 12:2.

The dates for VBS this year are June 17th - June 21st. VBS is for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade!

Safety is important to us. All volunteers are required to submit to a thorough background check and a child safety and protection program. In addition, all children's classes require that there are at least two teachers in each of them.
